Service Now

Service Now was a really enjoyable project, where we got to create a cool factory robot setup in a super reflective environment. All the robots and conveyor systems were entirely CG. We started by scanning the actual factory where the footage was shot, then carefully relit and tweaked our setup to blend seamlessly with the real-world scene. This project was also one of the first to use Solaris and Karma on the render farm at FancyVfx, and it pretty much cemented Houdini and Karma as the studio’s go-to tools for CG work moving forward.
